About Us

Daniel W. Blunt Sr., CEO / Owner, of Belding Tank Technologies, Inc. has been in the fiberglass industry since 1968.  Dan got his start with Process Equipment Corporation working in sales, dealing with both fiberglass and stainless steel tanks.  Previous work and life experiences excelled Dan to become Process Equipment’s Sales Manager.  Dan worked for Process Equipment learning about the fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) and stainless steel tank fabrication industries.
 
Belding Tank Technologies, Inc. Manufacturing Plant
In 1976 Dan had a desire to be self employed and left Process Equipment to begin the journey that we know today as Belding Tank Technologies, Inc.  Dan, along with six other employees started to manufacture fiberglass tanks in Belding, MI.  With expanding sales efforts and continuous company growth, a new fiberglass tank manufacturing facility was required and built in 1994.  Today Belding Tank employs more than 60 people and continues to expand to meet our customers’ needs.

Part of that expansion was the addition of our stainless steel tank line, Stainless Products Corporation – STAPCO.  With Dan’s experience in stainless steel tank sales and manufacturing and an opportunity to expand the business, the company felt it made good sense to be able to offer our customers another line of tanks.  With the addition of STAPCO we feel we are able to expand our efforts of customer satisfaction.

Dan’s personal vision is to strive to be the best that he can be at whatever he does.  His personal vision is also his company’s vision.  Belding Tank’s motto “Quality is our Standard, Customer Service is our Specialty” is what we stand for.  Belding Tank employees take pride in their workmanship, making quality our standard.  But we believe to be the best that we can be means that our customers are completely satisfied.  Dan believes that to be the best, we have to take care of our customers.  Therefore, because quality is our standard, it allows customer service to be our focus.
